Nearly 20 years ago, Strong industries Inc. wanted to take this industry icon to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness by allowing the trucks to do the dumping and hauling job at a heightened or “Super” level. You see, Strong realized that times and Mother Necessity herself, demanded the transportation of more weight. Along with this, the governments of the United States, federal, state and local, demanded that this did not destroy our roadways and bridges. In response to these demands, Strong’s creative and ingenious invention the “Superdump” was born.
The Superdump is Born
The Strong Superdump truck, among several other advancements and engineering marvels, consists, at a basic level, of an extremely high quality, built to last dump bed, optional pusher axles, and an additional trailing axle. You will often hear the trailing axle called a “Strong Arm™”, Strong Industries’ brand name for its industry changing invention. Incidentally, these superior quality originals should never be confused with other, less innovative imitations that have since arisen and are sometimes mistakenly referred to as a “Strong Arm” as well. This combination of all of these systems on a Strong Superdump resides in a very light weight, durable, built to last package which allows a Superdump truck to handle up to 26,000 tons of payload, depending on your areas laws. All of this while maneuvering and hauling just as quickly as the tried and true old faithful predecessor, our beloved dump truck.
