Federal Bridge Laws for the State of Illinois

Super Dumps Recommended for Illinois

The Strong 4 axle Superdump will work well in this state. Illinois uses modified federal maximum weight limits with a 42’overall length limit and 13.5’ height. It also allows 102” in width. On other State and supplemental highways Class 3 and non-designated allows 96” in width. The big difference between Illinois law and Federal law is Illinois restricts you to only four axles and 64,000 GVW.
